How can I support your work?

The easiest way to support our journalism is to become a member.

You can also make donations via our tip jar.

Can I pitch you a story?

We welcome pitches from journalists for our Features and Portraits sections. Email us at editor@inkcap.co.uk, outlining your idea and personal experience, alongside links to previous published work if applicable. We pay 30p per word.

We also welcome ideas for our Perspectives section from people working in nature conservation – whether that's as an academic, artist, policymaker, activist, or something else entirely. We want original ideas, thought-provoking arguments, entertaining anecdotes, and underreported narratives about the work you do. We pay a flat rate of £100 per column, plus one annual membership to Inkcap+.

Our Notes section is produced in-house.

I have a tip-off.

We are always interested to hear ideas from readers – whether that's a specific event, a new paper, or just a general trend that you think we should be following. Email us at editor@inkcap.co.uk.
