Sophie Yeo

Sophie Yeo is a journalist and writer based in Durham. She has covered nature and climate change since 2013. Her book, Nature’s Ghosts: The World We Lost and How To Bring It Back, won the Richard Jeffries Prize for nature writing in 2025. She holds a degree in English Literature from Oxford University and a Masters in Journalism from Cardiff University. When not writing, she can normally be found chasing her kids through the woods, reading novels, or cooking.

Coreen Grant is a writer originally from Edinburgh and currently based in London. She has written for Inkcap since 2021. She holds a degree in English Literature from Durham University and a Masters in Environmental Humanities from Cambridge University. She also plays professional rugby for Scotland and Harlequins, and spends her free time hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
